D365 Business Central – Senior Consultant

As a D365 Business Central Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, value-driven implementations of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central for small and mid-market clients. You will partner closely with customers to understand their business needs, translate them into effective system solutions, and ensure a smooth, successful deployment — every time.

Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement & Delivery Excellence

• Lead Business Central implementations, ensuring on-time and high-quality delivery aligned with client expectations.
• Conduct onsite and remote assessments to gather business and technical requirements directly from stakeholders.
• Provide proactive communication, guidance, and support throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring exceptional customer experience.
• Build trusted client relationships through transparency, reliability, and consistent delivery of value.

Solution Design & Configuration

• Configure, customize, and test Business Central modules based on client requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications and documentation.
• Apply best practices in configuration, programming, and documentation to ensure system stability and maintainability.
• Collaborate with internal teams to design scalable and efficient solutions.

Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement

• Execute testing plans, track issues, and validate system performance against requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, delivery methodologies, and implementation standards.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and promote consistency in delivery quality across projects.

Training & Knowledge Transfer

• Conduct end-user and system administrator training sessions to ensure confident adoption.
• Support the development of internal academy content, sharing expertise and lessons learned.
• Mentor and coach junior consultants to elevate overall team performance.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7-8 years of hands-on experience implementing Microsoft D365 Business Central (or NAV).
• Proven full lifecycle implementation experience across core Finance and Operations modules.
• Strong consulting background, ideally within a management consulting or professional services environment.
• Experience with ISVs or add-ons (e.g., InsightWorks, Multi-Entity Management).
• Excellent communication skills and a client-first mindset.
• Ability to the lead the implementation team for multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred:

• Experience working with clients in Manufacturing, Distribution, or Life Sciences.
• Microsoft certifications related to D365 Business Central.
