Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Software Project Manager to lead and manage our software
development projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management,
excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of software development processes.

Responsibilities:

Project Planning:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, considering scope, timelines, resources, and
    risks.
  • Define project objectives, requirements, and deliverables. Collaborate with stakeholders to
    ensure alignment of project goals with business objectives.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams. Assign tasks, set priorities, and ensure team
    members have the resources needed to meet project goals.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team
    environment.

Communication:

  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, team members, and leadership.
    Conduct regular project meetings to review progress and address challenges.
  • Ensure effective
    communication within the client, project team and across departments.
  • Risk Management:
    Identify and assess project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively address issues to
    prevent project delays or failures. Monitor and manage changes to project scope, schedule, and
    costs.

Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring effective utilization of resources. Track project
    expenses and report variances to leadership and client.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Proven experience of 3-4 years as a Software Project Manager in a client facing role with a successful
    track record of delivering complex software projects on time and within budget.
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum and/or Waterfall project management methodologies.

Technical Skills:

  • Solid understanding of software development processes and methodologies. Familiarity with project
    management tools and software (JIRA, MS Project, Azure DevOps).

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with technical and
    non-technical stakeholders.

Leadership:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills. Ability to make decisions and solve problems effectively
