Key Responsibilities: 

  • SEO Strategy Development: Create and execute SEO strategies that align with the company’s business goals and target audience while increasing organic search visibility and traffic. 
  • Keyword Research and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive keyword research and analysis to understand trends and identify target keywords and opportunities for content optimization for the B2B IT industry.
  • Content Optimization: Work closely with the content team to optimize existing content and guide the creation of new content based on SEO best practices. 
  • Guest Post Management: Identify and manage opportunities for guest posting to enhance AlphaBOLD’s link profile and brand visibility in the IT industry. 
  • Backlink Strategy: Develop and execute a robust backlink strategy, including link building and managing link audits to improve site authority. 
  • Technical SEO: Work with the technical team to ensure website is technically optimized to facilitate better search visibility. This includes site speed optimization, mobile optimization, and resolving crawl errors.
  • Lead Generation: Meet the leads target for organically generated leads.
  • Competitor Analysis: Keep a close eye on competitors’ SEO strategies to identify gaps and opportunities in AlphaBOLD’s approach Content Development: Collaborate with content creators to produce SEO-friendly content that appeals to the target audience and adheres to best practices.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Regularly monitor and report on SEO and general website performance using tools like Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, HubSpot, Yoast, SEMrush, or Ahrefs
  • Market Analysis: Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor strategies, and the latest SEO updates to maintain a competitive edge.
  • SEO Audits: Perform detailed SEO audits on our core websites to identify areas for enhancement, including on-page, off-page, and technical SEO elements. 
  • Stay Updated on SEO Trends: Stay abreast of the latest SEO trends, updates, and best practices, continuously adapting and updating strategies accordingly. 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, product, and technical teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all digital marketing efforts. 

Skills and Competencies: 

To excel in this role, the ideal candidate will possess a blend of both hard and soft skills, ensuring they can effectively contribute to our team and achieve outstanding results:  

Hard Skills:  

  • SEO Tools Proficiency: Expertise in using SEO tools such as Google Analytics 4, SEMRush, Ahrefs, Moz, CMS platforms (WordPress). Basic knowledge of HTML5/CSS is a plus. 
  • Keyword Research & Analysis: Strong skills in conduct keyword research and utilizing insights for content strategy development. 
  • Technical SEO Knowledge: Solid understanding of technical SEO aspects, including site architecture, schema markup, and website speed optimization. 
  • Data Analysis: Ability to analyze and derive meaningful insights from data, translating them into actional SEO strategies. 
  • Digital Marketing Knowledge: Understanding of broader digital marketing strategies, including PPC, social media, and email marketing, and how they integrate with SEO.  

Soft Skills:  

  • Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex data and market trends. 
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for articulating SEO strategies and collaborating with team members. An English SEO vocabulary is necessary for this position. 
  • Problem-Solving: Proficiency in identifying challenges and proactively seeking out effective solutions. 
  • Adaptability: Ability to stay up to date with changing SEO trends and algorithm updates, adapting strategies accordingly. 
  • Teamwork: Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. 
  • Time Management: Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. 

Education and Experience: 

  • 3-4 years of experience in SEO, preferably in a B2B IT environment.

Additional Requirements: 

  • Familiarity with the B2B IT industry and its audience.
  • Certification in Google Analytics or similar platforms is a plus.
